Blue Room

If you are staying in the Blue Room, you will see the nightstand right in front of you, as you enter the room. This is where you will find your key. This key will let you in the Blue Room from the kitchen, which is located just off your room and from outside. This is how you will enter the Rental for your stay with us. This bedroom has a queen sized and a full sized bed. There is a “Smart TV” which has DirecTV, as well as a wi-fi connection. The TV sits on a dresser to be used for your convenience. There is a small, but cute table with 2 chairs. You also have the convenience of a large closet with hangers.

We now have a full kitchen. In the small, but functional and extremely adorable kitchen, you will find a full-sized electric stove with an oven. There are pans with lids and cookie sheets in the bottom drawer of the stove and in the cabinets. There are mixing bowls, measuring spoons and measuring cups, large spoons, and oil, salt & pepper in the cabinets. You will also find silverware, coffee cups, glasses, bowls and plates. What would a BnB be without a Keurig and coffee maker? You will find coffee pods, coffee and filters, creamer and various types of sweeteners next to the Keurig. In the 2nd drawer are towels and washcloths. If you find you need anything else, please let Melinda know.

The Living, Dining, and Family Room is very, very big. It takes up over half of the main floor which measures at a little over 2,000 square feet. This space will give you

 plenty of room to spread out, let the kiddos play, or recline on either the couch or loveseat and watch TV or take a nap. The Living Room area has a SmartTV with Wi-Fi and DirectTV ready to watch.

There is a full-sized couch where each end is a reclining chair. The Futon is not only able to recline, but each side also rocks. There is a futon with pillows to take that nap. The family area is where we find the kiddos to play. It’s a large open space with original wood flooring as well as two area rugs. There are a few toys for the children to play with as well as a piano, if you feel like tickling the ivories. The Dining Room has a table that seats six. The Dining table is located in between the bathroom and the Laundry Room.

The Bathroom has a nice, walk-in shower with a seat. We have been told by many that there is great water pressure for a hot shower and the nozzle is easily high enough for a person 6’5 tall.There is shampoo, conditioner and soap ready for your use. You will find washcloths and towels under the sink. In the bottom drawer of the cabinet you will find a hair dryer. There is extra toilet paper in the toilet paper holder.

The laundry room is where you will find the door to the back yard. You are welcome to enjoy the backyard. It has a porch swing, a couple of outdoor musical instruments, a beautiful Oak tree to sit under and a privacy fence. In the laundry room you will be able to use the washer and dryer. There is soap and dryer sheets for your convenience.

We have two sitting areas that you are encouraged to use. One of the areas is a small porch located on the Franklin Street side of the house. This small porch has a small table with two chairs and an old-time metal lawn chair. There is also a larger porch next to the yellow door. You will find a wicker love-seat with a wicker rocking chair and a table. Around the corner from this, next to the blue and purple bedroom doors is a glass table with very comfortable, rocking lawn chairs. If you enjoy being outside, this is the place to drink your relaxing coffee in the morning or enjoy the peacefulness of the evening.

You are more than welcome to use this Dining area for outside food from one of our many family-style restaurants, Sonic, Subway, and in the Spring, Fall, and Summer months an old-style walk-up Dairy Queen. You can view more of what Windsor has to offer by clicking here!

We do not allow parties or smoking. However, you are welcome to smoke in the outdoor areas of the home.
