The Fitzgerel’s

When Charlie married Melinda, she had two children, Chelsea and Nick, that he now calls his own. Chelsea is an archeologist and is married to her wonderful husband Jacob, who is a computer and electrical engineer. Chelsea and Jacob both graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia. Chelsea then went on to get her Master’s degree at the University of Dublin in Dublin, Ireland. Nick is a minister at the Christian Campus House in Columbia, MO. Nick also graduated from MIZZOU with an IT degree.

Charlie

Charlie is a Sales Rep for Rucker’s Wholesale Candy. He travels from Eastern Kansas to Fulton, Mo and from the Iowa border to Southern, Mo delivering, displaying and ordering old-fashioned candy. He is an elder at his church, a Sunday School teacher and a baseball history buff. He loves to play his APBA game. Charlie is the quiet one of the two. He loves hosting our guests and looks forward to many years in Fitzgerel’s Nightly Rentals.

Melinda

Melinda is an Elementary Music teacher. She has taught Music for 28 years, as of 2021. She has taught in the Windsor Elementary school for 18 of those years and looks forward to retiring in the spring of 2022. Melinda helps Charlie teach a Sunday School class at Leeton Christian Church. She is also the Worship Leader and pianist. Melinda is the chatty one. Melinda loves to find out where her guests are from, why they’re here and what they would like to do while staying at our BnB, which Melinda jokingly calls a Bed no Breakfast. Melinda loves working on her home. Whether it be stripping down the wood floors to stain and polyurethane them, paint anything that needs to be made to look fresh and new or decorating the rooms and outside each month. She loves it all.
